Google Launches “Explore Google Search” as its first Bang for Bing
Lately, there has been a lot of talks about the launch of Microsoft’s Bing and if Google is scared with this latest development of Microsoft. Now Google is fighting back and launched “Explore Google Search” as its first shot towards Bing.
Google had developments like this before. For example, “Search Features – Improve Your Search Experience”, showing numerous features such the potentiality to get weather results, stock quotes, sports scores and various other stuffs. But “Explore Google Search” is being featured right from Google home page:

“Explore Google Search” page frames Google’s search features in an easier-to-read format, along with videos:

And the introduction on “Explore Google Search” page highlights how serious Google is about improving search:
Search is at the heart of everything we do at Google. Our engineers work every day to solve the hardest search problems, and thus improve your online experience. Here’s a glimpse at what they do, the features they’ve built and the remarkable user stories that inspire our work.
Have you ever seen Google to market itself to consumers, to trot its stuff? Google never had been really! Google Searchology 2009 event didn’t cover anywhere near the range of what Google offers. But if Bing is more and more praised and if people keep finding aspects that aren’t necessarily unique to Bing – Google may find it has to develop.
“Explore Google Search” page is all about doing that stepping up. There is no doubt that “Explore Google Search” page is worth reviewing, specially for those who aren’t aware how Google can provide everything from local business information to stock quotes. Like Yahoo! and Bing.
